What Is Buy-Back?
Essentially Buy-Back is a trade-in scheme. We’ll take your old Trainspotters lights in return for a credit on new or future purchases.
How Does Buy-Back Work?
We will buy back ex-Trainspotters lights that are re-sellable and a minimum of 12 months old (from original date of purchase)
We will value the lights taking into consideration any re-conditioning, re-certification & re-listing required, and make you an offer
We will credit you to the value of our offer, which you can use for an immediate purchase, or a purchase within the next 12 months
Start A Buy-Back
4 Simple Steps:
1. Get in touch
All you have to do is drop an email to [email protected]with an image of your light(s) and any other information you think may be useful such as the lights’ condition, any obvious marks, the quantity of lights you have, and we will respond within 3 working days
2. Await our offer
Should your lights be suitable for Buy-Back we will make you an offer of a fair purchase price
3. Ship the lights
Our Buy-Back value will be based on the condition that we receive the goods in after shipping. More information on shipping is provided below
4. Spend your credit
Use your credit to offset a future purchase or an immediate purchase of your choice. Future purchases should be within 12 months of credit issue date
Shipping Items For Buy-Back
Some dents and scuffs may be acceptable however lights that are damaged due to bad handling, faulty wiring or poor packaging/shipping, may not be eligible for Buy-Back. If you have any questions regarding the Buy-Back process, please get in touch on [email protected]
Suitable packaging
You will need to ensure that your lights are appropriately packaged, well protected and sealed, properly addressed and adequately labelled with relevant warnings e.g. contains glass, fragile, right way up etc
Suitable courier
Your packaged lights should be sent by a reputable courier and adequately insured for an appropriate replacement value
