We’re busy making the last minute arrangements for designjunction 2013, the only fair or exhibition that we have ever been tempted to partake in. Part of London Design Fair, designjunction returns to the abandoned 1960’s Postal Sorting Office in Holborn, a concrete monolith of a building with the original parcel shutes and conveyor belts left intact. The fair includes a powerful line-up of renowned international brands, smaller cutting-edge labels, pop-up shops, large-scale installations, eateries and flash factories. Seminars and screenings will be presented across three floors of the impressive 120,000 sq ft venue. Open Thursday 19th – Sunday 22nd September. Find us on the second floor of the building near Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa restaurant. http://thedesignjunction.co.uk/ We will be officially launching our French Street Light and will also be showcasing our box fresh vitreous enamelled pendant lights, in a range of funky colours, just gone online today. We’ve been working on a whole new display system for our lighting which we will be going on to use in our new showroom at the mill when this show’s over. Please come and say hello if you’re passing.
Although retro lighting might not be at the top of you ‘summer-must-haves’ list, there are some pretty smart creations to be found at this pop-up shop. Usually based in Gloucestershire, Trainspotters will be in the big smoke for 10 days only
