Trainspotters was born out of the salvage trade. Founders Jesse Carrington & Tony Brook met whilst running an arm of Lassco, the grande dame of the London architectural salvage world.

The establishment of Trainspotters marked a move into salvaged lighting as a speciality.

Since then we’ve developed our range of newly manufactured lights, all based on salvaged originals. However, we are still salvagers at heart and continue to buy the best reclaimed lighting whenever the opportunity arises.

The thrill of saving a cache of quality lighting from the wrecking ball remains. A bit of spit and polish and we are able to supply lighting engineered to the standards of a previous age.
