Mountain, London

The team from Brat restaurant and chef Tomos Parry have now brought us Mountain, located on Beak Street in central Soho, London, it’s already proving to be the place to dine in London.

Still only in its first year of opening it has already received rave reviews from the likes of Grace Dent at The Guardian and Tim Hayward of the Financial Times to name just a couple. The team at Mountain have their own onsite bakery and butchery so no wonder people are flocking to consume their fresh take on classic European dishes.

Having already supplied lighting to Brat in Shoreditch, the Mountain team returned to Trainspotters for further lighting, selecting the same beautifully crafted mouth-blown Opaline Glass Globe pendants lights to adorn the ground floor level of the eatery.

The large 50cm diameter opaline globes are blown by hand at the foundry by just a small number of experienced craftsmen. The skill involved to take the molten glass to the very edge of glass blowing possibilities makes these pendants very special indeed.

The glow that is emitted when lit, provides a warm and comforting light and combined with the simple paired-back spherical form, the Opaline Globe is a lifelong classic, built to last generations.
